Macauley Cottage is a lovely mid-terrace cottage set in the beautiful South Downs National Park village of Slindon, West Sussex. The cottage is very well equipped and presented, making it an ideal cottage for families or groups of friends to stay as it offers accommodation for up to 6 guests (including the use of bunk beds).
There is cosy sitting room on the ground floor which has a flat screen TV with DVD player. This is partly open-plan to the kitchen/dining room. The country cottage style kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and there is a washing machine in a utility room, accessed from the rear garden. The rear patio garden is on 3 levels and makes for a great space for 'al fresco' dining in the warmer months.
On the first floor of the cottage there is the smaller of the 2 double bedrooms, as well as the bunk bed room. The bunk beds are full size, so ideal for children or adventurous adults! There is also a family bathroom which includes a shower over the bath. On the second floor is the larger of the double bedrooms and this room is very well furnished, offering stunning views across the Sussex countryside towards the coast.
There is parking for 2 small cars at the front of the cottage. Additional parking is easily available on the road.
