The ancient fishing village, today capital of the 'Marina Alta' area, is offering all a holiday maker could wish. Endless sandy beaches (more than 15 km), protected, fascinating rocky coasts, a historic old town with a moorish castle built in the 11th century, churches from the 17th and 18th century, the nature reserve of the Montgo, beautiful for hiking or walking and many more attractions.
Denia is situated on the foot of the magic mountain Montgo, exactely between Alicante and Valencia, both airports can be reached within 1 hour driving on the motorway. The modern Marina is very attractive for watching the boats or dining in one of the restaurants on the waterfront. Later you can enjoy nightlife in the open, in one of the original bars or clubs. Denia has also many shops and boutiques, you will never get bored. The endless fine sandy beaches are located north of the town, the Punta del Raset beach is bordering the town, joined by the Les Marines beach, Les Bovetes beach, Els Molins, L`Almadrava and at the end the Les Deveses beach. South of the town, only a few minutes from the villa, there is the beautiful area of Las Rotas which starts with a small sandy beach (La Marineta) and goes over to rocky bays with crystal clear water untill the cape of San Antonio.
