Charming, spacious and bright apartment with enchanting views, combining modern and old wooden furnishing. Located in a historic building, the apartment itself has been renovated in keeping with its original charm. Though it is literally in the very center of the city, you will find that the apartment is a quiet retreat, as it is on the top floor of the building, there is only one apartment per floor, and most of the surrounding streets are limited to pedestrian traffic (taxis allowed). Hand-cut wooden beams all over the ceiling and a bed made of logs by ourselves give the apartment an unique character.
Located at the 5th and last floor of a more than 100 years old building, you will feel much silence and tranquility . The walk up to this 5th floor pad will reward you with great views of the city and a relaxing time on the terrace. The terrace is also the perfect place if you need to smoke, since that's not allowed inside the apartment.
In the heart of the El Carmen neighborhood, next to the Serranos Towers and the valencian Cathedral, the apartment is perfectly located to discover the historic center and its restaurants, trendy bars, markets, museums, churches, shops and numerous places of interest. The apartment is very near to the Turia Gardens that will lead you to the City of Arts and Sciences, the modern part of the city.
The apartment is 65 sqm (700 sqf) in one big space that, through its triangular form, keeps the intimacy in the sleeping area. If necessary, it can hold up to 4 people with the use of the queen size logs bed and a double extra double bed that's hidden. The loft has all comodities: an antique german kitchen, wood fireplace, gas-heating, dish-washer, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, iron for clothes, hairdryer, water heater, fast internet wifi, starting supplies in kitchen cupboard, i.e. coffees, teas, olive oil, condiments, etc. etc
The kitchen is also fully fitted with casseroles, pots and dishes, and you will be able to cook the fresh, quality products bought at the markethall located right before the building. A set of towels per person and linen are provided for each stay. You'll become fresh towels and bed linen if you stay longer than 5 days.
It’s easy to reach and a short walk to all the the tram station 'Pont de Fusta', where you can catch line 4 direct to the harbour (F1 races or America's Cup) or to the Arenas and Malvarrosa beaches. Just a 10 minutes walk away from home you also have the train station 'Estació del Nord', the metro station 'Xativa' to the airport or the international bus station. In front of the building you will find the bike rental station. For 10 € per week you can use a bike in the city. And cabs are in Valencia cheaper as you may think. Just ask for the price in advance... You will be surprised!
My sister Alex and I, we will assist you with affection and all the help and information about the city you need, as for example parking spots for your car. There are maps and recommendations for restaurants, tapas, markets, public transport and sightseeing waiting for you!
