The villa, which is in the La Font area in the hills behind Pollensa, has three spacious double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, the other two bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, and in the same area a bathroom with a shower. Ideal for 6 adults/children plus babies, the villa is air-conditioned throughout.

The views over the bay and surrounding countryside are breathtaking and the villa has an open-plan kitchen/dining room/living room so that these fantastic views can be enjoyed whether you are cooking, eating or just relaxing. Near the kitchen is a small garden area where children can play, and a large terrace with table and chairs leads out from the living area. The large-screen plasma TV is fixed to the wall and can be adjusted to face any direction. There is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and the kitchen, with its island work surface and cooker, is fully equipped with all the implements you will need, plus a dishwasher, microwave and massive fridge/freezer. There is also a BBQ.

The swimming pool is rectangular in shape and has Roman steps (long and shallow) for ease of use, and those same wonderful views can also be enjoyed while you are in the pool. The pool can be heated if required. There is a private parking area for two cars.

The house is new, modern and ideal for holidays in either summer or winter, and is perfectly placed within easy driving distance of Pollensa old town (10 minutes), Puerto Pollensa, Cala San Vicente (15 minutes each) and Formentor (20 minutes).

The inland town of Pollenca is typically Mallorcan with a maze of narrow, winding streets dating to medieval times. There’s a wealth of historic buildings in the town including a Roman bridge, Gothic church, monuments and gardens. There’s also a challenging flight of 365 steps leading to a chapel.

The town is cosmopolitan in ambience with plenty of cafes and restaurants. It’s also well known for its seasonal and religious festivals when it can become very busy. These fall in January, February, July and November
