The small and quite resort of Cala Sant Vicenc with summer villas and no more than 10 hotels is situated on the extreme north-west coast of the island. Now there are no more fishermen in the bay but a lot of good fish and sea food restaurants. There are two family-friendly sand bays and two mini-bays with stones to the foot of the impressive Cavall Bernat, the mountain with rises horizontally out of the sea. In the village centre: 2 supermarkets, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy, newsagent, bank and bus-stop - nothing else. But about 20 cafés and restaurants are distributed around the village. The bays of C.S.V. are very recommended for snorkelling and diving. C.S.V. takes approx. 7 minutes by bus or 30 minutes by bike (renting in the village) to Pollenca and to Port de Pollenca. It's an ideal place to go hiking and bird watching in the mountains. C.S.V. is not recommended to people who like animation or entertainment by day and by night.
