Apartment “Amethyst” is a brand new modern 2 bedroom luxury accommodation offering spacious and comfortable living. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with an adjoining balcony. At garden level there is an L- shaped lounge/diner/kitchen leading out to a private shaded eating area and large terrace with shared infinity pool.There is also a very convenient downstairs w.c.

All rooms have fabulous views of the beautiful harbour and bay. The sunsets are something else!

Fully equipped and air conditioned, this apartment is a great spot to chill out and enjoy the ‘al fresco life’.

the Turquoise Coast / Lycia region: There is an abundance of choices for those who wish to explore the area further.

For beach lovers, Kalkan itself has an attractive public beach that is only 10 minutes walk away. “Kapatus Beach” is approximately 10 minutes away (by car/taxi/dolmus). This lovely sandy beach is dramatically located at the foot of the ravine. “Patara Beach” is about 25 minutes away (by car/taxi/dolmus) and is arguably one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful and unspoilt beaches with 18 km of golden sand.

Kalkan is located in the ancient region of Lycia and many historical sites are relatively close by, including Xanthos, Letoon, Pinara, Tios and Patara.

The attractive harbour town of Kas and Fethiye are also within reach, both having big market days.

Check in time for your arrival at the villa is from 4pm, on your departure day your check out time is 11am.
Flights are available from Stansted and all major U.K airports to Dalaman. From Dalaman your transfer time to Amethyst apartment is just 1 hour 30 minutes. The transfer route itself is your first introduction to the beautiful landscape of Turkey, through forests of green pine trees, small quaint villages and the mountains that are the backdrop of the landscape.

Although the season (predominantly dictated by the airlines) officially finishes at the end of October, November in Kalkan can be fabulous. The weather is still good; the sea is still warm from the summer and the tourists all but disappear. A lot of the restaurants are closed but there is still plenty of choice for a great meal out and it's a wonderful time for visiting those ancient monuments and sights that you don't have the energy for in the full heat of summer!
