Completely renovated in 2012, we are now ready to welcome our guests back to the Bungalow Badamier. We have had guests from all over the world visiting us for many years, and we think that by now we are pretty good at making our guests feel at home!
We have invested in completely new furniture, including new bed frames, mattresses and kitchen equipment. All terrace, kitchen and livingroom furniture is also brand new.
Our bungalow is located in lush, quiet surroundings in a secure residential neighbourhood of La Preneuse, far away from the main road. The covered terrace is filled with tropical plants, along with plenty of peace and quiet - a very relaxing place to have your breakfast in the morning.
We also offer you access to one of the largest and cleanest swimming pools in the world, located only 150 meters away from the bungalow. It’s called the Indian Ocean, and it's completely free of chlorinated, recirculated pool water!
All our guests benefit from free maid service, including a free laundry service. There are no hidden electricity charges or other 'optional' charges. Know exactly what you pay for before you go!
If you need to access internet from the comfort of your bed, the terrace, or even the beach – you can borrow a 3G USB modem free of charge. Data/traffic charges is approximately £7/€8 per 1000 Mb (1 Gb). This is typically enough for 2-4 weeks of surfing the web. The service provider is Emtel, and network cover is island wide. Please note that this service need to be booked in advance.
There is also an internet café on Royal Road in La Preneuse, with sit down desktop computers, and there are several restaurants that offer free wireless internet access to their guests, should you wish to leave your laptop or smart phone at home.
Emtel prepaid internet services work with Windows and Mac OS operating systems. Emtel also offer prepaid internet services for most smart phones (iPhone, Galaxy etc) and tablet computers (iPad etc).
If you are interested in renting a car during your stay, please let us know and we will put you in touch with a reputable and licensed local car rental agency that offers very competitive rates. They deliver the car to the bungalow free of charge.
The Bungalow Badamier is licensed for rentals by the Mauritius Tourism Authority, which means that it meets all the requirements of the Government of Mauritius for short term holiday rentals, such as fire regulations for example.
