This magnificent holiday residence is a genuine historical building dating form 1580. It has recently been renovated with high quality materials. The original ceilings with exposed beams, the wooden floors and warm colours offer a charming atmosphere. Located only 125 meters from the main market place, it truly lies in the heart of Bruges. The small medieval street is free of traffic. There is a cosy living room with a godin gas stove, a fully equipped open kitchen (with a Boretti) and view of the romantic city garden.

On the first floor you have a spacious bedroom with also a stove, a sitting area, a double bed and a view of the Tower of the St. Jacob’s church. Next to the bedroom there is a stylish bathroom with a large bath (spa, hot tub), shower, wash basin and toilet. The second floor consists of a romantic bedroom with a double bed, a separate toilet and bathroom with again a a spacious bath (spa) and washbasin. The house is central heated and provides all modern comfort.

In the very centre of the Unesco world heritage site of Bruges, this historical romantic house called De Boterboom is the perfect place to stay, to visit the Flemisch primitive painting of Jan van Eyck and Hans Memling, the medieval maze of the old town, Gothic churches, the many high qualified restaurants and cosy pubs, the concert hall, the Christmas market. You will find a wonderful scenery, friendly people, and beauty in every street. A walk following the canals gives you a nice natural experience. A short drive brings you to interesting places. The sea is 20 minutes away. The historical art centres of Gent, Antwerp and Brussels are at max. one hour driving, and you can easily get there with the train, avoiding all traffic misery and allow you to stay in your perfect holiday home, the Boterboom.

Rental rates for this holiday house in Bruges (Brugge), Flanders & Brussels

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • The two nights weekend starts at Friday 4 pm or Saturday 4 pm., The two nights weekend price is €470.
    A three nights weekend stay is €587.
    A weekley stay, 7 nights, is 750 Euro
    A midweek stay is 4 nights, and costs €470 A minimum cost of € 375 will be charged for a shorter stay.
    All taxes, water, and energy costs are included. However, the gas consumption will be charged from the first of October till the first of May. The price is € 0.80 per cubic meter.
    There is a caution of 200 euro asked.

  • Both the bathrooms are very modern and newly renovated, but within the features of the historical building. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom, each one on one floor, for full privacy. The bathtub volume allows easily two persons to enjoy a great relaxed spa experience, effected by repulsed air.

  • Bedroom 1is the master bedroom, with the extra large double bed, natural duvet, and an excellent mattress. There is a wooden ceiling with exposed beams, wooden board floor, 18th century furniture, a sitting corner around the functioning gas stove, a desk and calligraphy decoration. There are two big windows, allowing the light freely to come in. The first floor has only this bedroom, and the private bathroom next doors. Bedroom 2 is on the second floor, with a private spa bathroom and toilet as well. Smaller, but cosy under the beamed ceilings. Very romantic!
