The Treilles estate consists of nearly 50 acres of vineyard, as well as a wooded glen and fields. All this surrounds two self-catered houses which both offer greenery, a pool and sports equipment to visitors. A former barn, rebuilt with a pediment and a tower, and fitted with a bar, a monumental fireplace and audio-visual equipment. Ideal location all year round for a holiday where you can enjoy peace and quiet as well as sports and tourist activities. Sports include walking, horse riding and cycling. We can arrange bike rides for you around the property with the appropriate equipment (mountain or road bike). Tourist attractions include tasting Cahors wine and other local produce and visiting the historical heritage and countryside of the Quercy region.

Cycling: We can arrange bike rides on road bikes or mountain bikes around the property, (good) equipment hire available. Various levels of difficulty, from an easy stroll to an intensive challenge. We can transport bikes and guests elsewhere for excursions away from the property.

St Jacques de Compostelles: We are near the pilgrimage trail of St Jacques de Compostelles as well as the Montcuq and Lauzerte legs of the route. We can come and pick you up in the car for a well earned rest and then the next day drop you off again so you can continue where you left off.

In the evenings you can visit a wine warehouse (Taste the wines of Cahors).

Balloon flights, parachuting: We recommend a flight in a hot air balloon, carried out by a professional and leaving from the property.

For other thrills, there is a parachuting school in Lauzerte, approx. 30 min drive away.

Former farm building rebuilt and reconstructed on 2 levels. Surrounded by trees and brightened by rose beds. There are 5 comfortable and welcoming guest rooms: Bonaguil, Montcuq, Lauzerte and Moissac and St. Cirq La Popie. All have a shower or a bath and a separate WC, and very comfortable bedding. There is a private, secured pool (4.5x14m), a play area with sand, swing and trampoline, badminton, boules pitch which is lit at night and superb outdoor lighting for the evenings. The communal room, 'Rocamadour', is available to all guests. It contains a fireplace, a kitchen area and a large table for breakfast and optional dinner (contact us for details).

Near the St. Jacques de Compostelle trail, 4 miles from the famous village of Montcuq, less than 13 miles from the historic town of Cahors and 36 miles from Montauban. The green Treilles estate is nestled in a crook in a vineyard. There are numerous tourist sites to visit in the region, all within an hours drive. For example, the Padirac caves, the villages of Rocamadour, St Cirq La Popie and Lauzerte, the Château de Bonaguil and the famous Lot Valley.

There is a jazz festival in Cahors in July and in Montauban in August

It is fitted with an open-plan kitchen with all the mod-cons, a lounge area and a bathroom with separate WC. It opens onto a beautiful terrace, great for summer evenings. Garden furniture is available. There is a separate laundry room outside of 'Les Logis' where guests can use the washing machine and dryer.
