Two self catering 2 bedroom gites.Each sleeps 4.

Comfortable, attractive, fully equipped self catering gites in quiet rural surroundings. Everything you would require for a relaxing summer holiday. Situated close to bastide towns with local markets. The gardens have a large luxurious 14x6m pool which is in the sun all day long. Within a short drive there are plenty of restaurants and activities: canoeing, sightseeing, horse riding, tennis, golf, fishing, walking in beautiful countryside. Bergerac is a short drive away for all the chic shops and restaurants. Each gite has 2 bedrooms: a double & a twin.They are centrally heated and have a fireplace making them ideal for winter breaks.Each gite has its own terrace with table, chairs and barbecue and have views across the garden and pool. Bed linen and hand/bath towels are provided.The kitchens are equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There are games and books in the gites and a selection of pool floats available. Look out for the deer, wild boar and the huge variety of wild birds: woodpeckers, owls & hoopoes and the elusive golden oriole.

Golf: There is an 18 hole championship golf course at Castelnaud, near Villeneuve sur Lot which is about 15 mins away. There is also a tricky 9 hole course at Tombebeouf also about 15 mins away.

For those looking to visit a more prestigious course, Chateau Vigier offers a 27 hole course in a truly beautiful setting overlooked by the chateau.

Large gite with kitchen, lounge/diner with old tiled floor, beams, fireplace and large feature window. Ground floor double bedroom with access to terrace. A beautiful elm staircase leads up to the first floor, twin bedroom and bathroom. It is attached to main farmhouse but totally private.

Serignac-Peboudou is set in a quiet rural location,but not far from the bastide town of Castillonnes and the smaller town of Lauzun.Both have resturants, bars and some shops. Throughout the summer there is always something going on, fetes, bodegas and repas to name just a few things. In and around the area you can fish,horse ride ,play tennis, swim or just go for a walk along the quiet lanes and walkways watching the local wildlife, you can even go to the cinema.

Nearby, ther is a donkey farm where children can take rides on the donkeys.

At Castillones, there is a horse racing stadium (trotting) where they have several evening meetings throughout the summer.
