About Citakara Sari: Citakara Sari is translated as “The Essence of Arts.” The richness of Balinese arts is what drew us to this unique land in the first place. Here, artists, musicians, dancers, and creative people of all sorts are held in highest regard, and in most instances entire communities will take part in performances, as musicians in the Gamelan orchestra, as actors, dancers, singers, puppeteers, or even in combinations of several different capacities. Every aspect of Balinese culture, from government functions to religious ceremonies, is a creative endeavor. This vibrant and lively approach to life has informed the concept and design of Citakara Sari Villa.
Citakara Sari Villa was designed to wed elements of the traditional and the modern, combining Javanese woodwork and Balinese thatching with western amenities create a comfortable, natural flow. And behind it all, the ocean, framed by one of the only white-sand beaches to be found in Candi Dasa.

Villa Yoga Bale: Our original intention was to designate the Yoga Bale for yoga sessions. Truly, the soothing warmth of the polished granite floor invites you to stretch. Now the grandiose (80m2 with over 7m high ceiling) semi-open living space is a multifunctional area for dining, relaxing, playing games, watching the waterfall built out of rough marble, hosting a small performance , and , of course, yoga. Antique Javanese gebyok walls are united with large panes of glass to create a traditional/contemporary blend in a fully air conditioned downstairs bedroom. The bedroom is large enough to hold a king size bed and a double bed (both antique from the island of Madura), a writing table, chairs, and armoire for clothes. Attached to the bedroom is a semi-open 30m2 bathroom with a room enough for two hand made terrazzo bathtub. Flowers and green trees growing in the bathroom make you feel like you are outside. The upstairs bedroom (36m2) with vaulted alang-alang ceiling has the best view of the ocean.
4 adults plus children can reside at the villa with comfort.
