4 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths (Sleeps:15 May-Oct, 12 Nov - April)

The cabin looks rustic but is cozy with modern comforts, featuring a large stone fireplace and expansive deck great for reading, viewing, grilling or cocktails at sunset. We feature accommodations that are comfortable for a romantic weekend for 2 or up to 12 guests in three bedrooms and loft.

Our log cabin mountain retreat is a 2000 square foot vacation home. It is located on private and secluded Tonche Mountain within minutes of fine dining and shops in the historic town of Woodstock. You will need to travel several miles of private road (great for walking and spectacular views) before reaching the cabin. The cabin is situated on 25 acres of secluded woods surrounded by hundreds of acres of private land and conservancy land. At 1200 ft. elevation you will have breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains, valleys and sunsets. Wildlife is abundant and the mountain air is rejuvenating.

*Seasonal space over garage available May-October: 1 Double & 4 Twin Beds, full bath

Bedrooms: The first floor has 2 bedrooms -- one bedroom has a double bed and bunk bed, the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a trundle sleeping up to five.

The second floor has the master bedroom with a king size bed, crib, full bath, ceiling fan and window air conditioner. There is a sleeping porch off the master bedroom with a queen bed. The loft has a comfortable futon with a pull-out queen mattress underneath.

Seasonal room above garage has 4 twin beds, a double bed and full bathroom. Available May-Oct.

The cabin is built exclusively of pine wood with hardwood oak floors and custom tile on the first floor, carpeting on the second floor master bedroom and loft. The loft is a great place to read a book, play a game or take in the view through our telescope. Watch a movie or sports in HD in our new TV/Movie room with theater seating with 3 couches. Play ping pong, foosball or darts in the unfinished basement.

Outside the cabin, impressive hand placed fieldstone rock walls complement the landscape. Enjoy a horseshoe match, lawn volleyball or badminton, resting on one of the hammocks or relax while talking and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.

Our home is child friendly. We have a crib, child gate, umbrella stroller and high chair.

No pets. No smoking in the house.

Our Catskill Mountain Log Cabin Retreat is an ideal spot for couples weekends, family vacations, and family reunions. This is a very special place. Enjoy.
