This stunning house, furnished extensively with antiques, is found at the end of its own road, with no passing traffic, save the occasional tractor. It is ideal for large groups, who wish to holiday together without falling over each other! Dining room, salon and conservatory are all spacious and comfortable, and each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom.

The large character kitchen/dining area is approximately 10 metres x 6 metres with dining seating for 12 and is an absolute joy to cook and prepare meals in - extremely well equipped with all the modern chef requires - docking station for iPods in the kitchen so you can listen to your choice of music while being creative!

Adjoining the kitchen is a beautiful stone orangery - full of light but cool enough on hot summer days to relax in - this leads straight out via double doors to the old stone flagged patio area where you will find the outside teak table - which extends to seat 12 with matching teak wood chairs - set looking down onto the pool and decking area where the sun loungers are placed - tranquil and peaceful you are not overlooked - total chill out time! Docking station for iPods in the orangery so you can listen to your choice of music. (Heated from mid June to September)

Prevasy: Just a few minutes from the hypermarket, shops and numerous restaurants of Carhaix, yet a world apart, the Manoir de Prevasy offers superior accommodation for the discerning guest. It has been meticulously restored to its former glory, with its Gothic archway, and even an old chapel. The rent includes table tennis, darts, badminton and a pool. We are fully booked most of the year so please reserve early.

Surrounding Areas: Carhaix is a centre of Breton culture, and the town is only a few minutes drive away. The north, west and south coasts are all equally one hour's drive away. There are thousands of beautiful villages and miles of coastlines to explore.

Perfectly situated for touring the nearby Armoric National Park with its many attractions, there is no need to venture further than a couple of kilometres to reach the lovely Nantes/ Brest canal, to stroll or cycle along its old tow-paths. Then back 'home' to a well deserved tipple in the elegant salon in front of the fire.

We are fully booked most of the year so please reserve early. Central heating is available for the colder months as well as wood for the log burning wood burner in the lounge.

History: Originally the Manoir de Prevasy was only a Roman Centurion outpost. But we don't want to spoil the fun so come by and read the entire 2000 years of Manoir de Prevasy...

The house was completely renovated in 2007 including new linens and kitchen!

The Rock festival features top international and French rock stars on multiple stages and street theatre acts. Nearly 180,000 people of all ages and nationalities attend the festival, which is noted for it's great party atmosphere, and unlike Glastonbury, it almost never rains

At Huelgoat - 10 minutes easy drive from Le Manoir there is an excellant bike hire centre - bikes for all ages plus trailers available for rental.

Notes

A security deposit of £200 cheque is required. This is returned after departure by post upon checking of the house and premises. Any breakages must be reported to the caretaker during the clients stay. Small breakages must be replaced immediately by tenant where sourcing is available (eg wine glasses, small bowls or plates etc). Large breakages and damage will be charged for separately. Le Manoir de Prevasy should be left clean and tidy upon departure (leave as found policy) If extra cleaning hours are required more than normal these will be charged to the client separately at a rate of £20 per cleaning hour.
In low season there is an extra charge for the gas central heating used - charged as required.
