Le Bosquet in its beautiful grounds features three gites each with its own individual charm. Set in two acres - part of it elegant woodland, it also has all the advantages of being in the heart of the Deux Sevres historic village of La Mothe St Heray. Charcuteries, boulangeries, patisseries, cafes, bars, banks, chemists etc. are all within a short stroll of our front gates.

Relax in our magnificent floodlit, heated pool, sunbathe, use our gym and games room or enjoy the beauty of our woodland. You can also visit the many attractions in the area: Futuroscope, La Rochelle and its beaches, the many castles and forts. For those who wish to venture for day trips there are the vineyards of the Loire and of Cognac.

Activites on site.: There are many facilities on site at Le Bosquet:

The Heated Swimming Pool within a secure walled garden setting.

The Games Room with table tennis, darts, table football, board games, boule etc.

The Gymnasium with electric running machine, exercise bike, trampoline, weights etc.

The Cinema showing recent, classic and children's movies.

The outdoor BBQ dining area.

The Young Children's ball/activities room (the Gnome Home or Chez Gnome!)

There is a paper back library for guests.

Within a 50 metre distance guests can use a tennis court, football ground, basketball court, skateboard park, go fishing in the Sevres Niortaise River or begin many walking and bike riding trails.

Golf.: For golfers there are three magnificent courses. 27 inviting holes at nearby Les Forges; the 18 hole course that surrounds the imposing 17th century Chateau du Petit Chene with its restaurant and bar open to players and the challenging 18 holes at Golf de Niort. All these courses are less than half an hour from Le Bosquet.

La Lavande is a pretty 2 bedroom holiday home that sleeps 4 - 6 in 1 x double bedroom and 1 x twin bedroom. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. There is a fully fitted kitchen and dining area with washing machine, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker/oven, kettle and microwave. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and toilet. The living room has satellite TV (BBC1) and sofa bed. The property has beautiful views over our gardens and there are ample chairs and sun-loungers by the heated pool.

Le Bosquet and its 18th century Grand Maison, is in the heart of the Deux Sevres area of France. Our village of La Mothe St Heray is surrounded by fields of tall sunflowers all summer. This region has a special microclimate and has among the most days of sunshine per year in the whole of France.
