The property is situated on the beautiful slopes of Monte Amiata, in the South of Tuscany,just 2 Kms from the busy hill town of Castel del Piano.

It is set in a silver olive grove,very close to one hidden natural pool in the river nearby,Podere San Vincenzo is built on the plant of 15th century chapel

The flat is warm and comfortable with typical country style furniture,with cotto floors,wooden beams and doors, the entry is into a large living/dining area with open plan kitchen and fire-place.

There are 2 large double bedroom and a smaller double/twin,so each flat can accommodate tree or four persons. Well appointed bathroom (provided with a washing machine)

The views from the flat are wonderful and there is free access to a barbeque and garden furniture.

The central location of Podere San Vincenzo offers visitors easy access to spas, historic towns, excursions, trekking in the Parks of Maremma, Monte Amiata and Monte Labbro

Faced on the gentle landscape of Orcia valley mount Amiata is the highest among the Italian inactive volcanoes.

Famous for its medieval centres, its gastronomy, its thermal baths and its luxuriant forest,the place offers every kind of excursions or itineraries. Mount Amiata has remained an uncontaminated place, both from an environmental and social-economic point of view, carefully maintaining its natural and artistic treasures.

You can also visit famous sites like Siena-Florence-Pienza-Montalcino-Montepulciano-Santa Fiora-Abbadia San Salvatore.

In the farm, rich of ancient atmosphere and taste, in harmony with the environment, you can cook using the country firewood-oven and enjoy the colourful sunsets having supper in the open air.

To relax one’s mind there is nothing better than admiring the surrounding landscape of the valley and enjoy the silence sitting under an old linden tree.
