To the north is the Marshwood Vale, a lush rich dairy vale surmounted by the Dorset peaks of Pilsdon, Leusdon, and Coneys Castle. The Marshwood vale is the home of Denhay farm, famous for it's cheeses and bacon and Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's TV series 'River Cottage'.
